Pregnant women: pregnant women who have a good nutrition should not take vitamin E supplements as amount of vitamin E in diet is adequate.
In individuals with malnutrition, vitamin E supplements should be taken as daily sufficient need and under the doctor's prescription.
Cystic fibrosis: 100 - 200mg of dl-alphatocopheryl acetate or about 67 - 135mg of d-alphatocopherol.
A betalipoproteinaemia: 50 - 100mg of dl-alphatocopheryl acetate per kg body weight or about 33 - 67mg of d-alphatocopherol per kg.
